Entertaining Luau

Very entertaining. Everyone did such a good job, the fire show was great. Very engaging and good opportunities for crowd participation. The line for food was a bit long but doesn’t impact the luau. Definitely recommend

Great time!

We had a great time at Chief's Luau..a bus came and picked us up, while it was a bit of a drive from our hotel, it was comfortable and pleasant. Things were very organized and the surroundings were beautiful. At first I thought it was a bit hokie to be at a water park but it was beautiful! The food was ok, but it is hard to get gourmet for a crowd. There was plenty of solid food! Drinks were pricey but that was ok with us..we weren't there for the booze. Chief and his crew were very entertaining and did a great job talking about the Hawaiian culture and the people's that settled the islands..I probably won't go again but I would recommend to friends.

Best experience of our honeymoon!

Don’t be fooled by this show. It might seem casual but they are highly trained professionals. The Chief will keep you laughing and the musicians will have you singing along with them. The dancers were truly talented. The fire dancers had me on the edge of my seat. I can’t give any constructive criticism because the show was perfect. It truly is a must see. I hope to be back.

A truly authentic Hawaiian Luau

We had an amazing time at the Chiefs Luau. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. This felt like a truly authentic luau experience, with the Chief adding just the right amount of humor throughout the evening. The fire spinning finale was breathtaking and the perfect way to end the night. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Experience

We had originally booked a luau through a different place but due to weather I cancelled. I booked Chiefs Luau for the next day once the weather cleared up and I could not have been more pleased! This was the absolute best experience my family could have asked for as far as Luau. We did the Paradise Experience which included the Kukui nut lei. I chose this specific experience because I wanted the lei as a souvenir to bring home and it last. There was an all you can eat buffet with amazing food!! It was just a great all around experience!

Chief's is hands down the best Luau and the best people!!!

This was a wonderful luau, very entertaining and informative. I would highly recommend this luau. For me this was much more than just a Luau. I decided to do a surprise proposal at this luau, and Chief's were more than accommodating. I emailed them months in advance, and they were so happy to help me. They made this the most memorable experience we had in Hawaii. I was invited on stage and given the microphone and allowed to propose in front of the entire crowd, and then we danced on stage! I can't thank Chief's enough for all they did to make our special day the most memorable day ever.

Common Questions

  • Do you have Kama'aina & Military Rates?

Yes we certainly do! Call (808) 664-0448 for more info and to book.

  • Do you offer transportation from Waikiki?

Yes we do. For an extra fee, you can catch our shuttle from seven different locations in Waikiki.

  • Can I drive to your location?
Absolutely. Many of our guests drive themselves to our luau in a rental car or they take an Uber or Lyft. Find your way to H-1 West, Exit 1E Farrington Hwy, right at the light, right into parking lot. Beware of Google & Apple Maps. Cancellations are definitely possible. For full refunds, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your reserved date.

  • Do I have to pay admission for my infant child?

Children ages 4 and below get in free. They will each get their own seat and plate of food. If you are taking our motor coach, 4 & under are considered lap children and may not have their own seat.

  • What days are you open?

Open on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Closed on Saturdays except on select times of the year.

  • Can I sit with my family/friends?

Yes. You can request this in the comments/special needs section on the check out page during the reservation process. Please indicate either the confirmation number or first and last name of the other party.

  • Do you have ADA accessibilities?

Accessible Parking: Designated parking spaces near entrances for guests with mobility needs.

Wheelchair Accessibility: All areas of our venue are accessible by wheelchair, including entrances, restrooms, and seating. (We have specific tables that we use to accommodate wheelchairs so please make notes in the comments)
